    courtesy bike?

Hi I want to get my bike looked at sometime, and I was wondering if any bike shops in Auckland have courtesy bikes/scooters to use during when it's in the shop as it need one to get to work etc.

    cheers

Use it as an opportunity to beg for an extended test ride on something you'd consider buying.

Never going back to Holeshot (unless I have to) for a service/fix job, they failed to fix my FXR150 twice and made me pay for it, not on.

    might check out red baron.

Mt Eden were good at giving me a loner while my new bike was being made ready, could be worth asking.

Obviously statistically insignificant, and probably unimportant anyway, but I went down there once and there were two young numbskulls with the professional manner and braincell quota of a common or garden toad.

The guy who did the (minimal) work, though, seemed a decent chap and did a good job, as far as chain-fitting goes. Rather excessive lube-age though.

Cyclespot Honda on Barrys Point rd in takapuna have a loaner, if you can handle riding a suzuki Volty home. I felt kinda silly riding it home in full sporty leathers.
Mike, the head mechanic, is a great guy, very helpful. He did a great job finding me a 2nd hand gearbox for the blade when 2nd gear fell apart. I would be happy to take my bike back to them for it's next service.
