lol i was going to take the corners wide and lean in like i usually do but then i realised that im two-up so id slow up and lean in and straighten then lean in more and straighten up....first time ever carryin pillion out on open roads...

yeah, if i was your pillion i'd be concerned

the trick is to do everything - including gear changes - smoothly

and if it's your first time with a particular pillion take it easy and work upwards so you know what the two of you are capable of... corners should be smooth - and NEVER flick the bars to straighten up, nor drop the clutch

    basically - smooth

sudden jerks can throw pillions off balance, make them uneasy and possibly throw them off

Not that I usually trust the weather forecasters all that much (especially long range), but it looks like we could be in a for a few showers on the ride.

Hope this won't be a problem for any of you - I'm sure all those years of riding in Auckland's daily showers will have prepared you.

oh hey and are those who are going on this ride keen to have a meeting the night before just to go over some shit at a pub or sumthing?? I know i am

EDIT: I DONT condone drink driving, but one standard drink an hour keeps you well under the limit and in all reality is fuck-all alcohol and isnt really going to cause you to screw up and crash
