red baron get lots of crashed bike and make a few complete bikes out of all the parts, then sell the left overs as parts.

Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
I tried to get RB to come and go on a price for a 1997 CBR600F that they were touting as a 1998. They wouldn't budge.
I thought their high prices were to allow a large amount of lattitude (negotiation) in pricing but no. They're just greedy.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
Easy answer is, dont buy off RB. Sooner or later they will get the message
... If someone wants that nice lookin zxr for that price... then good for them... Its the same with cars... those cefiro types that they now use for drifting etc... back in the day they were just normal run of the mill everyday cars... now that there is a demand for them for the 'drifter/boyracer' types... the prices have gone up... same diff...
demand reflects price *shrugs*... If you know your stuff... your sweet.
"World famous since ages ago"
I wouldn't buy it! Nor would I worry about it! Cheers.![]()
When you take thousands of photos of your bike does the light from the flashweaken the plastic?
You have FACTS to support this statement.??
Not just heresay?
Lots of imports come in needing some assembily--wheels and fairings put back on. Fact.
Red Baron end up with insurance and finance company grabbed bikes--Fact.
Not that I support RB particularly but I hate sweeping statements about any business stillout there
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Red Baron may be expensive, but check out this one from Mt Eden: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...668&key=822207
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.
its like cars, finance companies fall over eachother to give loans to young guys with no money for overpriced cars/bikes. fact is its just easy for them to buy a bike from a shop than front up with cash to a private buyer.
there will allways be a market for it as long as there are dumb shits out there to blow their (or finance companies) cash.
its Crazy Big Al but if your have lesbian fantasies you can read it crazy bi gal if you like!
Like every one has said, it's overpriced. But someone will come along without doing the research and pay the price.
It's the same with detectors on Trademe. Lately, I've seen a second hand Uniden SWS5000 sell on TM for over $200. FFS. I can walk into Dick Smiths in Wellington and get one for $99. It doesn't take rocket science to figure it out.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker
We came, We listened, And in one voice we answered
BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!
Damn, you're right. There will be 0.001% of the population who will say "what a deal" and buy it.
I was ready to pay cash when I bought my Hyosung. RB said they wouldn't budge on the price because they were selling them so quickly (they were also the most expensive out of the all the dealers I looked at).
End result is I went to Mount Eden, got great service and a discount, and got my bike from them. I will probably get my next bike from there as well when I upgrade.
What I don't understand is that learners will almost certainly be looking at upgrading once they are on their full licence, so dealers who rip them off are losing business long term.
BTW,Has anyone seen the early mint GSXR1100 on trademe that the owner wants $25000.00 for it?
Put a link up mate.
Yea, I know it's probly a typo on the Mt Eden bike, but thought it was still worth a laugh.

I don't buy bikes from Red Baron as i don't have the money.
But i do go in their for my gear.
Always have a good chat with the guys up stairs, and get good discont off them. Today they gave me a free bottle of chain lube!!!! (probley as i spent $200)
If the price is to high then go look some where else. It's not far to go to Mt Eden or Colmens etc etc.
