Do I need different tyre presures? Well, there's nothing else I can do!

Yes, read that Frosty and fully compliant. Took my RAV4 on a track day at Pukekohe and the instructor advised me to increase tyre pressure by another 5-6 psi. Do I need to increase my bike's pressure?

My mate's coming on a GN250. He loves it.

Increase? Last track day I droped my tyre presures by about 4 psi frount and rear, and that was about right on the money for me.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Definately don't increase them. My K5's pressures are supposed to be about 38 front, 36 rear for road use (or higher).
Track I use around 32 Front and 30 rear.....I keep similar pressures on the road too (I like them similar to track pressure, just a little higher).
Bet the Rav 4 was shit on the track did you fry the brakes?

The full story is that I never intended to take my RAV on the track but the instructor wanted to take 4 passengers in a vehicle to show them the lines.

After the first lap he pulled in to put in the extra pressure in the tyres. He was pleasantly surprised at the handling of it but, you're right, the brakes wouldn't have coped with much more. I only did another 2 laps.

That's why I asked the question about increasing tyre pressure.

niice work Glen! can you be there early mate; we need to set up; bleed the brakes, swap the front pads, set up the suspension and gearing specifically for Taupo and then if you can make sure the pies are kept on medium and teh ketchups kept in the chilli bin. we should be sweet.
