It hasn't even managed to shine out of Tim's arse.

Man we holidayed there a few years ago because my family were keen to do Stewart Island (why? just to say they had I suppose) so there we are in Invercargill around Christmas - New Year and we are wearing bloody hoody jackets just trying to keep warm enough if we ventured outside.
    Cheers

Chickadee + Mcjim - all the best for the move south...it will be stressful for a while...hopefully when you're settled we might see his nibs back on line.

Yes... we had ridden all the way out there, and as McJim put it "its like being inside a ping pong ball" the fog was so bad at points that you could not see the bike infront

The funny part, is that I lead the ride up there, in terrible fog, and didnt loose a single rider....
He takes a ride up there, in beautiful sunshine, and looses ALL his riders....

He said something in a thread of mine which a moderater said was 'drivel' and my response to it was 'drivel' so were deleted. I wasn't so flustered since I know the moderater and he gave a clear explanation (no room for drivel in tech threads). But it was a bit extreme for just a bit of humour I first thought, maybe he was the same? This thread popped up around the same time as this situation.

Cheers for the info, Chickadee, sad to hear McJimmeh won't be around any more. I'll miss his input into this community.

Pity that we lose cool people who make a contribution to the site while blowhards who do nothing but talk trash keep coming back.

Mad props to Maverick for his "Hotel KiwiBiker", bling richly deserved for that.

Bye Jim! Thoroughly enjoyed your character for all of the 1 ride I met you on and the countless humour you've spread through KB.

Thought so, despite the fog. I used to go out there for work. The first few times I went the road from the turnoff to the signal sation was gravel. Its much nicer now.

Oh yeah. Not a lighthouse to be seen....at a little campground....and not another biker to be seen either. Luckily, the smell of lunch at Waiuku lead me unerringly back to the pub. Whew.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

He's decided for his own reasons not to post anymore so, it's a shame but his choice. Pm's won't get through to him.

I'll still be on KB so if ya wanna get hold of the big man PM the Mrs.

    Chickadee
Looking forward to moving to the deep south - yayee Family down south and cheaper real estate, it's all good!

Anae. You know you don't have to go THAT far down south for cheaper real estate!!!!!

There's a hard core biker who rides a 1979 bike up to Turoa ski field very often. So you don't even have to go that far for cold weather, if that's what your'e into....harr harr. Yeah but nah but yeah, familys a biggie.

It's a shame. I miss you guys. Take care.
