    Aprilila RS250 new clutch

Can anyone recommend the best place in Auckland to purchase new clutch plates for an RS250?

Bought the bike on Saturday and the clutch is a little sad, cable is fully wound in at both ends so im picking the plates are screwed from someone riding the $*&@ out of the clutch!

    Cheers

Any Suzuki dealer would be your best bet. Probably chuck some new springs at it too.

adjusting cable lenght and pick up off the lever isn't always adjusting the clutch...where the cable goes into the case's there will probally be another form of adjstment on a lever...another thing...is the clutch could just be over adjusted using the cable...get someone mechnically minded to check it out before you buy new bits as you may not need em

Cheers guys, the plates are knackered. Moved the lever on the spindle to get max adjustment and fully adjusted the cable, only just gripping at the moment so hasnt got much life left.

Ordered new friction plates for $120 and heavy duty springs for $30 from MT EDEN. Pretty happy with that price. Bike will now be ready for MotoTT Fri 26th Oct.
