agreed! there is nothing like noise to tell everyone that you are there!

After being on a large bike that WAS silent, cars turned into me along the motor way. No way now! they know I am there.
The bike is made to ride not polish!

I must try this approach, problem is my partner isnt afraid of anything!

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

The vifferbabe doesn't mind the sound of the Satantune sans spud, but doesn't like me "fiddling" and doesn't like the way the zorst looks when it's not spudded up.
In any case, it really gets on my nerves, so I mostly ride with the MkII Spud.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

If my bike wasn't damn loud blipping the throttle how else would the wife know when to open the garage door to let me back in?

Yes, but does your debaffled or open pipe GN sound good like it is. It's a little bit tricky to get a 250 cruiser loud and sounding not to thin or rattly.

Aaaahhh yes, but...hang on , no... I mean yes...oh heck! I'm confused now

Anyway...my hubby's Micron pipes are very loud, and I absolutely LOVE the sound of his bike!!!

i hear him coming home from 2 intersections up the road, and yes, I will (if able at the time) open the garage door for him...But that's generally cos the pipes' noise has had its effect on me

My bike has got aftermarket pipes on which gives the nicest rumble and yes, she may be deemed noisy, but that's why I bought her...

Loud but not uncouth, we are!

Girlfriend didnt like the ZX4, but i cant blame her as it made me tone deaf after every 100kph ride.
current bike is good as it is not super loud like the zx was, but loud enough for me to hear whatever speed.
