However speak to Kiwis going to the UK to live/work and they say the same about NZ all bar the population side of things.

Loving this place so far and it'll get even better when i get out on track hopefully. Just trying to get some bikes from someone now......lol

As a pom here I endorse everything above. With regard to the main thread;- I have no qualification, no experience, no right and this is my first post, to comment on cheating/cheque book racing/ginga's. But, as an ex motocross racer in the UK (70's and 80's) who rode every weekend I could and only ever got a free shirt (we didn't use body armour in those days) I understand where cowpoos and the others are coming from. BUT!!!!! take a look at what the NZ Yamaha guys are doing for your sport and your country (my country too now) I mean taking young guys with little or no experience and giving them rides (albeit not completely free) to develop them into National riders and with Sam probably even higher. How good is that? Talent attracts sponsors, enthusiasm attracts sponsors. I was attracted by what the team is doing, I sponsored the team.

By the way, that was my qualification to join the thread. Sorry if anyone found it offensive, tell me where taupo is and if there's no fighting I'll shout the beers. Except for Maarty who can't handle it.........

It was in fact a test day and nothing more for myselfe and sam and that is what club meetings are for the fact that it is a bigger event than the nationals dosent mean shit it just means the vic club are doing a great job and all you pussies are to chicken to come do the nationals and learn how to ride fast enough to keep up.
I see all this moaning about the richest guy wins and all this crap I have been racing since 1994 and done it on the bones of my ass untill the past 4-5 years but I have spent enough of my own money to buy a couple of houses in the first 10years simply because I love and I had a some bloddy good results on bikes that were nothing but shit you get there because you will not give up trying and you have talent or you learn the craft over a period of time this bullshit about its the rich guys that wins is usually the people with no talent complaining because they cant keep up.
If it was such a big drama that sam had this gear on his bike and I was so slow that I seemed to be getting in the way why not talk to the riders concernd or the people running the meeting insted of crying behind you fake names on the internet.
Sams the most talented racer to come through our sport since the crafars,slights etc and all you homos can do is bag him for trying to get up to speed to compete on a superbike for the very first time at 19 years of age he had never fired that bike in anger before friday afternoon so all you legends should have been kicking his ass if you are half as good as you say you are.
Now I suggest you all spend less time in front of your computers and try meeting someone of the opposite sex and go get a life if things like club day racing is that upsetting for you all I cant for the life of me think how you survive in the reall world.
