on my way for a holiday... do do do (Dam my singing has gotten worse)

Omaru for Morning tea... then Paula returning back to Dunners. I come up the the middle of the island... with a few tiki tours thrown in here and there... basically "Hmmm where does that road go..."

Back from rally already due moody she devil wanting to go home and sleep in a bed instead of a tent.

First night, slow.. crap crap crap of a band. People stumbling all over the place.

Today, all except one I was waiting for showed up, road to Little River for the cafe with the lot and had some lunch and a blab. Headed back to rally, but one bike developed issues and had to pull over and make a quick fix.

Tonight, lots and lots and lots and lots of bikes. Decent band.. rather agitated female wanting to go home and lay in a bed. Good ride home (not cold at all!), bike developed issues on way home (rear wheel alignment maybe?), lots of retarded quoted posts replys to catch up with.

Photos may or may not be up soon.

Ghosty, were you on the sauce when you came to say hi to some us? :P

And I just remembered there was no mobile phone reception which made it a hassle for everyone to find each other, but it worked out in the end.

There's a bus route right past that place you should have put her on it

Nah, I'd had gotten an equal amount of complaints for that.

Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it...just back from holiday in Aussie...aaaahhh 30degrees of warmth and sunshine...and the missus wanted me to tidy up the section and make sure the dog remembered who we were after his stay in the kennel...

Hope you folk had fun at the rally...I'll make sure that I earn some brownie points so I can come to the next one!

Jen...I see that there's some bucket racing down here...that's your thing isn't it !?

Ohhh you missed out on so much fun!

I got dragged back home by Nadine, and now she says she actually had fun and doesn't want me to take her off the mailing list so she can come to more. Women!! Sheesh

I got more photos and some video that will go up on the website.

    Really? I don't think so...

    About the rally:

While it wasn't a huge ride to the (through Lyttleton tunnel, past the Time Ball station, Summit Road to Gebbies Pass, then on to the rally site), the day was a beautiful one. Great scenery, clear skies, warm temperatures, and of course good company.

Nice wee rally, lots of room, nice set up plus as a bonus (and unlike some other rallys) great prices on the bourbon - $3 for a 440ml can .

Mrs S and I only managed to see two other KB'ers (Ghost Bullet and NightHawkNZ) but we did arrive and camp together so I guess it was rather inevitable. Nonetheless a great time was had by all.

I'd be keen to go again.

    DAng, thats one hot panorama.

Should have see you guys out towards the corner, I spent enough time standing right by. You had a bike nearby with a sign leaning against the wheel?
