Ride, Thurs meet @ Gate Pa - 15:00

Well I'm having major withdrawals from not riding my bike since I've been to busy
but hope to get out this Thurs for a ride to Oko to celibrate day light savings.

I was going to take the indirect route and leave about 15:15.
The weather at this stage looks good but if it goes bad or I can't make it will post it
    the day before.
Otherwise hopefully meet some of you at BP Gate Pa @ 15:00

Edit: Please post up if you plan on coming.

14 is great to commute on and the fuel economy was good. I did 266kms on 15 litres of fuel, and could have easily made it to Warkworth on one tank which is awesome. 17.7kms per litre of fuel and 14 is running rich so Im pretty pleased with that.
Heading back tomorrow about lunchtime, I hope the weather gives me a break.
yeah we did, road damp till hicks then dry from there, the wind got up and dried the road for us. Had my scollop burger, as always yum.

Umm...In countries with reasonable speed limits and less nazi's in patrol cars I have owned adult bikes Chris. I honestly can't say the technique is much different between similar "classes" of bike (I didn't say they rode the same, I said the riding technique is the same). Comparing ZX10 to ZX14 to Superduke is comparing a sportsbike to a (shh...) sports tourer to a dual sports (or whatever the hell the KTM is classed as these days). Compare ZX14 to ye old'e ZZR600. Both a bit point and squirt due to excess weight and long wheelbase. Compare ZX10 to ZXR400, both hard on brakes flick round corners with high corner speed. etc etc.

What difference is there in steering or braking technique on a 250cc bike or a 1 litre bike?

Of course I'm totally mistaken if you equate "adult" sized bike with an old man lady tourer like a ZX14

Surely you don't think a wee 400cc turns in the same as a 1400cc now do ya? Or brakes the same...or or or...
There's even a noticeable difference between the ZX10 and ZX14 let alone the Superduke or RSVR, Vtwin vs inline four Mr Scatchybum ,so not sure of what bikes you're comparing.

Indeed...point taken and partially agreed with too, however the uninformed, ignorant comments came from a guy who rides a 400cc sprotbike.
As Unit pointed out she was simply passing on her own feedback from her experience.

BTW...braking is different on a larger bike as you should well know.
Would rather have this discussion in person though, far easier to prove how lala you are.
