Put those speakers up for a good sounding R1

Last year they had a couple of R1's with the mufflers off, and a brutal BMW too.
It sounded INSANE.
But they didn't allow it this year.
Does anyone know why?

I have to say I like Drew's Mcing especially when he called the Harley Riders ugly and then told everyone not to look at V's arse!!!! Although he really didnt give the honda riders as much stick as he did last time he mced.

The guy on the beemer was made to put the muffler back on after a couple of runs last year aswell.

That's why. We are lucky the locals are gracious enough to put up with us. Obnoxiously loud exhausts is pushing our luck a little too far.

A big thanks to all the competitors for entering, and marshals, helpers and everyone who assisted on the day.

It was great to see the Central Districts guys there - they really packed out the numbers and gave Drew something to focus on while announcing.

We do need more helpers for November as we would like to have a person stationed at every driveway on Dalefield Road.

To anyone who didn't go because the weather looked iffy - the Sunny Wairarapa has a habit of coming through for us - don't go by the weather on the West side of the hills !!

The last sprints went really well, but we do need more helpers to marshal, sizzle sausages and also sign in riders.

Even if it's for half a day, we appreciate all the help we can get.

Hopefully I will be there to set the record straight on how far out those RG150 speedos are but if i'm not quite up to entering due to effects from the 40th I'm going to the night before I am more than happy to sit infront of a BBQ or help elswhere.

after my marshalling effort at frostys trackday I am keen to help out with more of these events. It is a great way to spend the day second to riding. Unfortunately timing isnt going to work for me on the 25th but if anyone is out there thinking about it I highly recommend sticking your hand up.
