Glad they didn't get away with it, big ups to the faltmate who stopped them. Please advise when further details are known about the vehicle and/or offenders.

I think his point is that it is a bit of a pathetic attempt at humor/pisstaking. Personaly I am not toooo fond of Auckland. Much prefer the bay of plenty region...but auckland has the opportunites at present...

    God damn, that sucks!

Amazing luck catching them, well done that flatmate!

There's not a lot you can do to stop your bike being picked up and carried away other than locking it in a garage or chaining it to something secure. I had a mate steal my FXR as a prank that way once. He and another guy just carried it over the road and hid it...

I recommend a sturdy bike-lock chain through the frame and/or wheel, secured to something that isn't removeable.

It's a pain in the arse, but worth doing if you must park your bike outside.

If my bike was at my house it would be inside the garage!!! & my area is a hell of a lot safer than this one!!...

Have oxford lock, the cable one with key... I bought it over from home as I was getting paranoid about my bike being here while fireball uses it, over a week ago!!... this morning once I got bike back up the rd I told her that is why I bought the lock over... to chain it to up to something!!...

nothing more I could have done...

This happened in Massey, off Royal Rd area.

not a main rd at all... so they must've scouted it out first n known it was there
