Thats awsome, 30k bar tab, those guys must know how to drink. The all blacks have just earned my support back.
Never let your enemy see your emotions, for it is the one weapon they will value most.
For a beer at that bar was around $25 NZD.........even at that price 30k is an impressive effort
Let them have their fun, they've earned it.![]()
That's all I have to say about it.
Fookin rugby..I'm sure Starship Hospital could have put our taxes to better use!!

GET ON
SIT DOWN
SHUT UP
HANG ON
This is the point though, its not really like 30k spent in a NZ bar but more like 10k spent in an NZ bar, between at least 20 players and 20 support people, partners, random girls etc.
Probably 60-80 people all up I would guess and they were probably buying cocktails (come on we all know they are nancyboys ;p) which are more expensive then beers.
A good effort no doubt but I'm not astounded.
No don't get me wrong and I agree re funding in the health sector, my partner is a nurse.
Unfortunately I was more pointing to the fact that corporate sponsorship is very, well, corporate.
And a lot of the AB's do charity work for the hospitals and other children's groups
Because its written into there contract.......if not i doubt they would

The AB's are heavily into "entitlement" mode.
They think the world cup is theirs as of right!
They forgot that they have to earn it and confirm it at the WRC Tournament.
History in between cups just doesn't count!
Henry and The AB's were committed to "winning" the WCR, they failed, miserably! Went backwards even!
Now ranked eighth equal in their world standing!![]()
The adage: "hungry fighters fight best" comes to mind, were they hungry enough?not IMHO.
When I saw "King Henry" on sale in the warehouse before they even got there, it sealed it for me. (Tui moment? Yeah right!)
They were heading for disaster, they gave their guts true but they lacked battle hardness and they were far from "hungry" for success, they just thought they only had to turn up and do the bloody haka!
When that didn't work, everybody in NZ blamed the incompetent referee.![]()
Well, said the PC socialist collectivists, "it's only a game" and welcomed home the victorious "losers" as heroes!
This country is becoming more and more mediocre every minute!by default only.
Wake up and smell the roses New Zealand, before it's too late.We are walking backwards to Christmas. Cheers, John.
