Sidecar 'have-a-go-day' (19 October 2008)

Well what can I say you guys have done it again, put on a fantastic day for the public with your have a go day. This was my 3rd time at giving it a go and it just seems to get better everytime you do it. I would like to thank the NZ Sidecar Association for putting on a rememorable day and a huge big thanks to Kellies husband for taking me out and also the rider of sidecar 51 which was the blue sidecar with the silver fern the speed you were going was awesome and it took me ages to come back to earth after being out there for the 3 laps. You guys rock and I wish you all well with your future race meets and look forward to the next 1. Cheers for now.

Hmm, from what I hear, fruity boy doesn't usually have that problem when 'swinging'...

Cheers, my MotherInlaw and I were pumped for the rest of the day, and only slightly limping..haha. Looks forward to next year!

Interestingly, Jos's (TGW's) mother in law was the oldest passenger we took on the day & the second oldest was me (41) The average age of have a goers was about 24.
I think the photographer is a KB member, P.M Scrivy, looks like he's on to a line from the guy.

Thanks mate, will give him a ring today as soon as I can walk over to the phone, me fuckin guts and my leg are giving me hell. You did in 3 laps what a 6 hour tramp normally would do!!!

how meany laps did you do? I am fine after 5 laps with bob driving.... how are you doing bob?

I did 3 with Scrivy and 3 on an old Triumph with 2 hours between sessions. First 2 laps with Scrivy I was giving him the thumbs up, 3rd I was too busy hanging on.
