Well I heard whimpering from the passenger seat for the whole trip anytime we saw a bike. 25 was the final tally. My count up was for police cars for which the total was... 1.

Any preferences for a route? I can't quite make my mind up especially when the weather is so uncertain. It's supposed to rain inland but looking at the satellite images I'm thinking the rain may hold off somewhat and it may not be as bad as the met service thinks. Overcast in most of Otago I'd say and more scattered cloud in north otago and south canterbury -> morehopefully. A coastal trip maybe, via the less travelled roads for the scenery, avoiding blind ppl in cages and corners for those who like crooked paths to travel
.....
Well the wind is a definite player this mornin but think it may drop off ... so yeah Im there hows 12.30 ish for a time??

1 pm looks better, gives me time to eat! Possible suggestions? North to Trotters gorge, Moeraki coffee? then for those still keen coastal road via Kakanui to Oamaru and return? I can see to nuggets and its clear. Another suggestion- maybe south and then inland to Lawrence, down via Beaumont to Balclutha then home?
Of course, we may not make it as we still have to negotiate the driveway out of here and after last time . . . . . .. .![]()
Where would be the best place to meet?
We will be outside McIvor and Veitch at 1 pm, and leave at 1.15 at the very latest. Anyone is welcome to join us![]()
I would be keen as previously indicated for a run up the coast, provided the wind drops off a bit
