Ride to the Nelson rally

2nd, 3rd & 4th November 2007
Maitai Vally Motor Camp

Ok so we all know the rally... this thread is to sort a ride out from Chch.
We are headed up next Friday 2nd, whos keen to tag along? lets meet up at Woodend in the am (time to be posted) weather permiting we will go via the Lewis pass and on Sunday return via Kaikoura.

SATURDAY, x Nelson... what Im thinking as there is no thunder ride this year is a spin up and over to Takaka for lunch, its a mint bikers blast... so how bout it?

Now for those that cant wag work, post ya Saturday departure itinary here aswell and then we can all meet up on site.

,yep +2 , few people talking about going to takaka for a run... used to swear and curse that hill when in a truck ,and envy the 2 wheelers as they flew by!!,

The Saturday sounds like a plan...I'd be keen on heading all the way to the Spit, only another 50km.

Well thats the bike loaded , sunday ride home not looking that great , make sure you have some wets packed!. See you all tomorrow morning at woodend.

we'll try to send on from Springs Junction.. not sure of cell coverage there tho?
Should get there by about 12.30, anticipate 1/2 hour for lunch, then an hour or so to Murch, prob more like 2pmish there I'd say.
