Back now - man, it's nice out there! Ran into some guys from the Bay and they reckoned it was better down here.

Few spits from Weber to Pongaroa but otherwise sweet as!

Didn't see any spits in town at all today... Had lunch and picked up a New Zealand Motorcycle Atlas Second Edition. Will have some good rides in there no doubt... AL briefly showed me his when we first met so thought it was a purchase to make...

Just gotten home after a primo days motorcycling. Napier,Taupo, Western Access, Taihapi, Viniger Hill. Took the mighty GB & I'm converted to using 95 petrol in it. Damn sight smoother and more of what little power it has.

Very good day's motorcycling! I'm amazed at how much life the old Gixxer still has in her. Thanks all!

    another ripsnorter...

finally figured out how far i can go until i hit reserve, it's all the way from Bayview BP to taupo, out to the track, round the western side of the lake and about 1 mile short of the Turangi shell station 285km on 16.5 litres so I should be able to get 365 from a full tank, and I was 2-up

here's a blinder of a photo too, sarah and bonez on the desert road, two classic hondas and a classic sunset on the central plateau

plenty more but too late to load 'em all
