Oooooohh, is that what it was! Meh, you had a big grin on your face, so can't have been that bad!

Well, for me, after just under 10 hours in the saddle coming back up to Orkland, I am still grinning from one ear to the other from this awesome weekend. And the best part is: I'm not even sore! Go the mighty VTR250!!! :
I kissed her tank lovingly when I made it home last night, thanking her for getting me up and down the country safely and comfortably!

She's going to be a hard one to part with when the upgrading time comes up!

A great night in Christchurch - big thanks to Joni for organising the event.

Great to meet some more KBers. There was a few people I didn't introduce myself to - still, there's always next year's party...

    I am.

Fookin gixxers. My resolve to get a CB1100F next year for pootling about the countryside on has strengthened. I have no idea why I decided to carry on north on SH2 and go home via Napier after the Rimutakas.

It's amazing how tootling at 'cruising speed' over significant distances (as opposed to pootling, which is done at 'relaxed pace') clarifies the mind even while it punishes the knees. I slept well last night.

    Port
    Popcorn
stay in the spa, 40 degrees temperature...

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...Life felt really good last night!!

It's the pegs that fuck me over. Too much squatting with not enough stretching back in the day and a bit of cycling in more recent times has left me with quads that are way too tight.

If I was limber and flexible like you, I'm sure I'd be just fine.

The K2 is comfy as when I put my boots over the pillion pegs and lie on the tankbag, of course.
