I think this is a F4I in wellington
    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-124510582.htm

You might be short if you want a 1000cc but if you dont mind a 600cc plenty of choices.

Dude nothing like a 600. On or off the track there is nothing u cant do on a 600 that u can do on a thou. Buy that R6 if u got 10gs , unbeatable price. the cbr 600 @ 12k is gr8 value 4 money too ! Happy hunting.

you could alsways ask wild west if they've got anything good coming into the country; might be a bit cheaper if they know its already sold before even getting off the boat

That YZF for 5 grand will be pretty good, the only thing is the damm weight, it tips the scale at about 198 kg's and it's also a 5 speed. But then again this isn't too bad but realistically speaking I am in the market for a bike from 2000 onwards.

As for the Hondas I don't really know much about a 600 cc F's so Kim can fill me in here.

As for that 2006 R6, it's frikking mint and a great buy for 10,000 bux.

edit: ^ yeah if it actually stays for 10 grand... fark... eek!

Seeing that chap only wants 5 and a half for that SV it isn't soo bad.

If I were to choose to get a 1991 VFR I'd go the SV but if I were to really consider the SV over a proper sports bike, I'd have to think again.

I know they're OK for touring and shit like that but I wonder if I can have just as much fun......

I was rather hooked on a Yammie Fazer I saw other day. The 1000 cc engine rips a good 130 hp for a toned down R1 engine. Better riding position and comfort all round.

Well the 600F3 or 4's are nice bikes more of a tourer but it has the power if you need to blast. If you wanna check one out I am happy to go have a look with you. There is a 1999 R6 on sale by a kiwibiker for $8k. Looks mint. I think the power of a late or modern 600 would have been equivalent to your katana.

riding dad's 03 r6 i can say that they're pretty quick... more grunt than traction until the tyres are properly warm...

120 odd horse, 150 odd kg

the new r1 is something nuts like 190 horse and 170kg

I THINK its this one: Tradeyou

It's the only Auckland TL on trademe so I can only assume...
