I'm afraid i chickened out yesterday sorry guys... the wind just picks me up on my FXR and throws me into the oncoming traffic... so i decided not to take the risk. but fingers crossed for next week!

Yeah it was awesome. Hadn't been on a ride like that before, it's amazing what you pick up by looking at other riders.
Left my bag at stokes though, got to the Petone turn off and thuoght 'dang' - thankfully it was still at the pub!

Haywards was fun though. Front end felt very skittery after I passed that truck
