For a naked 1300? I would have thought that $20k would have stopped it.

Went to the Suzuki B King unveiling this evening held at MotoGB at Mt Maunganui. This is the first public viewing of the B King in New Zealand.

First impressions of it in the flesh:
    • Even though it has an 805mm seat height, it's very tall due to the width of the seat, which I'd say is probably a foot wide.
    • It's very, very wide around the sides of the tank / ram air.
    • You'll either love this bike or hate it.
    • You'd have to do something with the exhausts because they don't look finished.
    • You can definitely tell it's from the 'busa because I spotted some mounting bolts that you could use to attach a fairing to it.
    • Overall, the fit and finish of the bike feels good.

I'm still very interested in one of these and have already jacked up a test ride for when MotoGB gets a demo.

Ooooer. It's got a bloody wide tank.

I reckon I'd bash the sides of it lane splitting.

You're gonna get a strong neck riding that sucker Neal.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Does not effect me to much, but might effect some people who see the seat height and think its looks low, which is not since seat is so wide

The bike is so bloody wide I couldn't reach the ground even if it had no seat! There's no way I could ever ride this monstrosity because it its height and width

Sounds like a bike Cajun should definitely get then.

It's not s big as I'd thought it would be actually.

Seeing those pics of you on it Cajun, the only thing looking wrong is the exausts look far too long IMO, the rest of the bike looks great, what colour you thinking of getting.

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.
