Thumbs up Central Otago social rides

Anyone keen for social day rides round Central Otago over the Summer, on the weekends??? No club thing, just turning up at a certain place and a certain time and going........ without all the other 'stuff 'some clubs seem to get bogged down with.

Yeah, I go up Central a bit (step-son etc) so we could meet up.

Ya got Jantar, K14, idb, Ruralman etc that may also want to get together.

    PM me re details. etc.

    Unhappy

Yep, I'd love to join in, but according to the it may be some months before I'm fit to ride again. Looks like I'll have to pull out of the 1000 miler and the KB Cheviot get-together.

Damn-that sucks. Missed that as well. Don't read all the threads as diligently as some obviously! Best wishes also for a speedy recovery. Hope not too much ligament damage. Sorry you won't be at the Parnassus soiree.

I had the misfortune to be tossed from my bike at midday yesterday with a dislocated shoulder. I managed to get the shoulder back in place, but with very painfull and restricted movement. The organisers of the Postie Bike challenge took me to Julia Creek for medical attention (where I am right now), and the duty doctor has referred me to Mt Isa Hospital for Xrays and/or scans.

Bugger I missed that as well.
I did my shoulder real well once.
Three months off work and the worst pain I have every been in.
Clock watched to take the pain killers and waited for them to work to catch some sleep before they wore off.

I really do feel your pain just thinking about it. (shudder)

    Get well soon.
Feel the fear and do it anyway
