    Race Bike prep and Maintenance

    Hi everyone.
For those of you who do not Know me I have been Craig Shirriffs Mechanic for a long time and spent 3 year working in British and world Supersport. I am looking to increase the amount of racebike work I carry out. So if anyone is looking for any work to carried out by a race bike specialist that has been behind a number of NZ championships drop me a pm. I am very approachable and if you want to check me out ask Shaun, Craig, Robert Taylor(overseas at mo)
    Cheers
    Chris

Sorry if this breaks the rules

Good onya Chris, seeing some of the "I forgot..." or "but the brakes felt spongy...." or "I didn't have time..." or "but it wouldn't rev over 10k..." type write ups you should have plenty of business... (note the emphasis on "should")
Craig's bikes always look, sound and perform magnificently (shame about Craig being "aesthetically challenged", haha) so they are a credit to you.
Hmmm, BSB and World Supersport aren't for the faint hearted, must have been a real eye opener and as steep a learning curve as you'll find anywhere in motorsport I reckon.
So what sort of services are you offering mate? Full racebike build's? Suspension work? Pre/post meeting servicing? Engine improvements?
    Great to have you aboard.

    Hi Slow poke
I will do all race bike work from full engines and Bike builds to basic maintance.
I am based in Feilding about 2 kms from Manfeild and would be willing to do a full storage/ service maintance deal for the winter series. Just leave your bike with me and it will be at the track ready to go. just turn up and ride.
I am not a new bike snob either so dont be affraid if your bike is a bit old that is what I started on too!
    Cheers

Hi all. If there is anybody out there thinking about ringing chris dont think about it just do it he was a huge influence to my results over the past 7-8 years and I couldnt have had acheived what I have without this guy doing all the unrewarding countless hours of free work for me. The last time I had a bike break down on me was the last round of the Nats at pukekohe and this was also the first engine I had raced on tha chris didnt build and the motor I broke before that was in 2003 and chris didnt build that one either so that is four years without a mechanical DNF and im bloddy hard on gear to.
He is amazing also with suspension setup Robert Taylor will vouch for that he is very fussy as most people that are any good at anything are some of you guys would get a huge improvement out of dealing with chris so all I can say is give him a go.

    Cheers

What about a mobile workshop at the Actrix VMCC winter series? If you aren't already busy enough with regulars by then.
