Was a fine outing good food and weather was sweet as well.
Trickiest part of the ride was at dusk when you couldnt pick out the road surface as we travelled towards the twilite sky.

Got diverted around the truck crash this morning at Whatawhata to the next road west & spent the whole trip imagining what that road would be like on the bike - awesome. Is that your local Warren?

Paul likes that bit of road south of Whatawhata and lives within a couple of k's and me ~8k's. If your detour took you past the Mormon Temple, yes there are some nice open corners there... good for testing
