    Foam can-cooler

Any idea where to buy these now?

Would actually prefer the polystyrene ones if you've seen em.

We have a bunch of the 'thick wetsuit' type material ones that we bought while in Australia. Maybe search e-bay Australia for the polystyrene ones.

Should be possible to get some big blocks of polystyrene and just carve out a few beer coolers.

My neighbour's old man is a polystyrene profile cutter, so that's always a last resort

I do know a guy in aussie that made some a few years ago out of wetsuit off cuts (he makes wetsuits for a living). If you cant get the poly ones maybee a ring round of the likes of 2001 Wetsuits or whoever you have down south asking to see what is in there off cut bin would mean you could get the required material for next to nothing

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

We have got Seventh Wave at Ferrymead who does really good wetsuits. I'm sure they could set you up with some excess neoprene.

It's part of a backpack, I ideally want the polystyerene for its rigidity.

Add this to the can holder and you've got it sorted!

It doesn't the idea is to put a cold one in the holder, and it insultates it from the heat of your hand and surroundings and sunlight keeping the cold in and heat out...
