    FOR SALE: 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa

This bike is up for sale so macmotortrimmer can upgrade to the '08 Busa. He is the second owner (the original owner was MotoGirl's sister).

You all know about the crazy speeds these bikes can go so I'm not going to tell you about it. BUT if you need more information, check out thie website: http://www.suzukicycles.org/All-Suzu...ki_models.html

    Some details about this bike:
19,000km and it's still being used
    Just had its 18,000km service
    Front brakes are EBC HH
Tyres are Pilot Powers (front is 120-70/17, rear is 190-50/17). They've still got over hald their life left.

    Extras:
    • Ventura packrack and headlight protector
    • Frame sliders
    • Swingarm protectors that double as spools for lifting the bike
    • Yoshimura (carbon) Tri Oval bolt on pipes
    • TRE
    • Iridium double-bubble screen
    • Rear hugger
    • Undertail that also works as a fender eliminator
    • Rider custom seat, which is blue leather. The pillion seat has the Hayabusa logo embroidered in it
    • Dog bones - the bike is currently at stock height but can be lowered up to 1.5 inches
    • Built-in cigarette lighter for running a GPS or radar detector etc

Bike has a small crack to the front-left indicator scoop and the very top of the dash (above the clock) is slightly melted, which is caused from the double-bubble.

If you've got any questions, pm me or MotoGirl or phone 0274 345 260.

This bike is awsome to ride, with the TRE installed it helps remove all the hunting/lurching low down in revs, and also removes the speed limiter in top gear. Pulls like a train, and with the hayabusa name anyone/everyone respects it due to.

With the hugger/undertail it really cleans up the tail end of the bike.

And are open to discussions on the price, drop me a line if you are interested.

    Hey

Do you wanna sell the under tail or swap it for the oem one?
    Cheers

We've still got the stock one and (at this stage) intend to sell the undertail on the bike. Check back with us though - we might sell it for parts if it's not gone in time to welcome the '08 Busa

    How much for the stock

I think I'll take to it with a dremel. Does the new undertail throw up much water etc or does the hugger sort that out?

I keep on seeing 'TRE' on the description for Suzuki bikes. What is a 'TRE'?

    TRE=Time Retarding Elemter.

Suzuki limit the hp in 1-3(4) gear, under 50% throttle
then also certian rpm in 6th(for the 186mph) speed limiter, this tells the bike its in 5th gear the whole time,

so in turn unlimits the top speed and unleashs all the power.

The main reason you put these on the bigger cc suzukis, is at slow speeds (under 20km/h) they are very very lurchy, and putting this in stops it
