And the gas thing. The gsx600F has the worlds biggest fuel guage and that is great. The zx9r has none and that sucks. On longer rides it doesnt bother me cause I fill up and the next gas station after reserve but this tootling off to work and back I forget when I switch it over. I must have switched it over on the cafe ride on Friday night I think but I dont remember doing it. Might have to work on a solution for that.
I'll have to introduce you to Mr Odometer at some stage in the near future..........................

Kawasakis biggest fuckup was not being able to display the odometer or trip metre while the clock in on display. Just seems silly. Usually I will switch the display from the clock to the odo at the same time I hit reserve to remind me it is on reserve but sometime I be forgetful.

Beaute wee r6 don't have a reserve tank but an empty light and when the light shows up a seperate trip metre shows up to keep you reminded. You'd only get that from the awesomley superior bike maker that is YAMAHA!!!

I have to admit that it is pretty much by chance that I dont own a Yamaha. I have always liked the thunderaces but there was something about the 9 that made me jump at it ( oh yeah, it was freaking cheap)

Almost as good as the Concours. When you're down to your last 4L (and it is very accurate) you get a big freekin picture of a petrol pump on the screen. And if you turn that message off, a blinding yellow light. A good time to think about stopping...

Good to know gauge is accurate though.

PS: best economy to date is 5.45L/100km - got it twice on GC. Have had quite a few under 6 though.

Havnt realy been checking my fuel usage too much but did notice on the week end it uses very little more than the RF 900 and the Daytonas, which is bloody good considering the size and weight diference
Might start keeping a better eye on it
