    RG150 not RGV150

RGV150 is aircooled, RG150 is watercooled and goes way harder apparently. I used to own one, and by god did it go. Every 250 I test rode felt slow after that

If the two strokes were reliable and efficient and didn't sound like lawnmower's I'd choose a new RS250 Aprilia.

A really cool bike would be the Aprilia RS125 with a 450 single motorcross engine if it would fit... I know they've done it on the GP125 bikes.

But in reality for reliability, fun, rideability, and the fact that it turns like a GP racer despite it's soft unadjustable suspension, and general looks. The bike that I'll be racing this weekend is my favourite bike... The mc22 CBR250RR. I've managed 1.15.1 around Puke on mine on my first ever race day. And comfortable under 2 minutes around the taupo long circuit. Kick arse bikes. I'm tossing up whether to sell my 2004 CBR600RR or my 1990 CBR250RR and I think I'll be keeping the latter.

And for the record, the Honda haters on this site are mostly taking the piss or they're just jealous about the perfection that only Honda's achieve, and the most common complaint is that they lack "character" or in other words they are missing the idiosynchrosies that other brands generally have. They often have a lot less faults but are often not quite a stressed.

Another bike I would consider would be a DR250, they are go any where bikes really. On the beach one day, up in the bush trails the next then ride it to work on Monday...it would be awesome to see the off road side of riding a motorcycle.
1990 GSXR 750 - want one, can be crap, can be awesome....pm me.

I've already got it! Although I'd also like a dry clutch RGV250T VJ23 in factory Lucky Strike, and an MC28 NSR250 in factory Rothmans.

in fact, any sprots 125 - like the r125.
mmm... sexy looks with wicked sharp handling...
Pretty much that, but insted of the RS250 engine, I would use a VTR250 engine, just because I love 4stroke V-twins!
    And a Kawasaki KLE250, dual-sport version of the GPX250.

    Jesus, you lot are dull.

I'd be out there kicking all your arses on a motarded-up YZ250.

    Around the outside.

    Sideways.

Could you explain why? What was it about the A model that you felt was better?

As far as I remember on paper they're almost the same bike bar the nicer fairings on the C and maybe more adjustment on the suspension. Oh and usually lower km's because they're newer.

YZ motard'd up would ROCK...never thought about that. Could you put on of them on the road if you slapped lights and all that on it. **Looks up to the right, dreams about riding YZ motard**

With all the money in the world I would buy a Honda RC166. A 7-speed 250cc inline-6 producing 60bhp at 18000 rpm and weighing in at 112kg.
