actually I have quite a few people who love me and better things to do than to bother people who post inquiring threads about bands, and take those threads off topic...

Fake Plastic Trees was one I related to so much when my ex and I split up (and I still love the song, only now it's got a good vibe!), but Creep is one of my all time faves.

So many Friday nights were spent dancing away in my favourite Indie club in Manchester (5th Avenue) to this sort of music - some people call it depressing, but I find it quite the opposite

I guess to really appreciate it, you've maybe had to grow up with it - and Manchester was a real hub for the early Indie scene (not that Radiohead are a Manc band of course....). Hubby definitely doesn't understand my love of the genre, LOL

(James are my ALL TIME fave band, but Radiohead and Stereophonics are close behind!)

Scanned past that and thought, yeah, the early Cure albums, that's the stuff.... then I read it again and thought, who?

If you like slow and melancholy there's little can beat the early Cure albums.
