That's bullsh#t man... Typical Kimmy aye... I ride there almost every week and sometime twice a week (sometimes for only an hour or so) and still don't get any discounts. The guy seriously needs to think about his business outlook IMO. Sweet track but $30 doesn't really seem that fair when you consider almost EVERY other track is $20 max

Ah well I'll still come but I think it's a bit of a have when your bringing in such business and he won't even do the decent thing and say "hey... you guys can get in for $25 each or something"

Sorry for the negative buzz guys haha it's still too early for me

If you get a year pass its $300, you should look into that.

Yeah considered that BUT we have started riding Tokoroa a heap more lately so we'll be there when we can. It's really weather permitant where we decide to ride.

Didn't mean to sound like a scrooge in my last post because I'm not but it's just when you support somewhere like this it's nice to get a bit of appreciation ya know. Most places have a card with ride 5 times you get the 6th free or something. Anything is better than nothing but there is no telling kimmy haha

And this people is how you feel when you don't get any sleep ha

    I Totally agree.
For me its 3 bikes and petrol etc thats $150+ each time I'd never go there for less than a whole day. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't do a family discount either. Shit man Ardmore is only 10 bucks each! I say tell him to Jamb it and go to Thunder X. I'm pretty sure they would give a discount and even if they don't its cheaper and you get the 6th ride free with their card system. Shit we could probably even stay the night in tents if we wanted to make a weekend of it! They even donate alot of these funds to the Westpac trust etc

    Fuck Kimi's! Give Thunder X a call. James 09/233-3117 or 027417-2327.

You mean at Thunder X don't you.
Yes if you get that nice lady (I cannot remember her name) the one with the arm problem. And she sees a load of bikes and kids in the car she will often be nice about the entry fee. Just depends on how she is on the day.

At Kimis I've never had even a hint of any family discount.

Buddy L don't mean to make your job harder but just a phone call to Thunder to suss things out might be worth it. Thats as long as you and everyone else agrees that is!

The thing is trackwise kimmys is the better day out. Enduro and MotoX PLUS kids track for the peewee's. I'd prefer to go to Kimmys but at the same time i'd be pretty keen to boycot it until prices are dropped a bit haha.
I say that because I'm motocross driven more so than trail/enduro.

How about Harrisville? I've heard thats mint as plus has kiddies track... Anyone know if they'd open for a KB day out?

Went to Thunderx on Sat, and it was mint. Really enjoyed the A loop, and the work James has been doing to it.

As for a kids loop the B loop is easy, and if you asked them I'm sure they'd open a paddock for the really small ones.

Kimmy's is good, but if kimmy is the guy I spoke to down there his attitude stinks.

my 2c worth, but don't care that much where it is aslong as I can get a good ride in.

Yeah I was there on sunday and had a blast. Thunderx is maybe not quite as professionally run as Kimmys so it is quite laid back there, there is multitude of paddocks that you can take the kids and beginners to just to play around and there is also quite a few other tracks around there if you know where to look.

OK, i don't want to start anything on here, or give the stink finger to kimmys bike park
Just remember im sure they have alot of out going expences, and its not all incoming.

    some prices
    woodhill bike park= $25
    Most trail rides =$30-$35 dollars
    river head 100 =$100
    Thunder Vally =???

IMO kimmys bike park is pricy,
But, they cater for everyone, they also now have a spares shop, water blaster for washing bike, Good Toiletry Facilities.etc etc.
just remember this is just a day out.
I'll do a thread in the new year for a day at thunder vally.
