Agree on with you last point. It is hard to lose weight for some people I guess and like I said in my last post they could have restricted her Visa.
It's not hard if you really want it to happen.
A woman I know has in the space of a year gone from the fat bride at 110kgs to the hot housewife at 65kgs, and her husband is absolutely stoked. All through a relaxed diet and plenty of exercise.
Her mum is doin the same and while struggling to lose weight, has still lost over 30kgs.
Just gotta be serious about it.

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

They already are trying this by slowly raising our ACC levies...

If I cause an accident then I am expected to pay for it, in cluding health care... (well my insurance at least) So if 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle and a cage is the cages fault, why is the motorcyclist paying for it with higher ACC levies...

I still believe the ACC levies should be on the gas... that way its user pays... it also covers boaties, (who don't have to pay acc at present) it covers when you mow the lawn and you get a stone thrown in your eye (happen to a friend a few years back) it gives cover when you are on the track, and doing the off road things... it covers when using the chainsaw and saw dust got under my safety googles and into my eye (happened a few years back) Would cover farming accidents better.

It would also mean ACC would actually make a little more money than they do now...

I know, just wanted to point out that it is hard, but agree not impossible.

    Cynic

    But ACC is non-fault silly.

A good point. Farmers probably pay ACC in some way, including Workers contributions but agree when a lot of motorcycle ACC stats cover quads...........

It would also mean ACC would actually make a little more money than they do now...

I heard they had stacks of money............but agree and maybe any excess can be given to Ministry of Health - Disability........

End of the day, they WANT to come HERE, so abide by our rules, talk our language and benefit NZ. This ain't asia, the uk, south africa, india or any of the other places, so speak english mother fucker.
If I moved to a non english speaking country, I would try and intergrate by learning the language and culture as I am in their home now. As far as I see it, it's common courtesy.

So if this couple were so keen to come to NZ, they should be dieting and exercising insted of whinging to the media.

But to tell a fat Samoan / Tongan / Niuean / Whateveran to bugger off 'cos he's fat is racism and being culturally insensitive. To tell a while person that is entirely acceptable, even though the husband would pay more in tax in a year than have the scroungers from the islands would pay in a life time.

    Bwahahahahaha....

I'm with Janno's earlier post though...I can see where the idea came from in the first place, but it is poorly managed, regulated, and really is insulting to these poor people...

I don't own anything that could be described as a 'survival knife'.
