That bit was in the DomPost.

"However, Police Minister Annette King defended the new instructions. "If behaviour is truly offensive in the normal sense, such as exposing genitals or buttocks in a crude way during a visit by the Queen, for example, then it is appropriate for the police to take action to move such protesters on."

Yeah - it's called offensive behaviour and it is already an offence.

Vote Labour? Don't be daft lad.

If Alan Clarke gets back in, I'm off to Aussie...I'd rather take the gyp about the cricket than put up with another three years of this.

With the amount of politcal agenda that this forum has had in the past ?month? that I've been on here - why not start a political party? We all seem to know better, so why not do something rather than sit back and bitch and moan?

Personally, over the past few years I've made several submissions to the Gubbmint, written a few letters, and made one phone call. Got what I would call a good result once - that's if you get a response.

    Thanks for asking.

I'm glad to hear it - and my post wasn't a "I'm sick of this shit" it was a "why don't we?" It seems like a good idea. I just don't have any idea of the proper channels needed to do it. And I'm studying to be an accountant so i'd be too easy to make fun of on a moral ground.

Sweet as - not having a dig at ya either - hence the pokey.

I tell ya, its frustrating when you go through the proper channels and don't even get the courtsey of a response from the bastards.

    Never voted Labour! Never Will!

I got a feeling the election will be very close again.

Labour is closing up the gap every single day!

Whilst we have the working New Zealanders emigrating to Australia (currently at the highest rate in history).
The proportion of Beneficiaries in this country increases.
That's less workers paying taxes meaning you and I pick up the slack each day.
That's what labour is all about. Benefits, handouts and corruption!
At least National supports the working class, not the beneficiaries.

Another thing. This bullshit government owned media is always going on about the lowest rates of unemployment seen. Makes me sick!
Thats because we've never had so many part timers. Part timers that work less than 10 hours a week and take home a low income earner handout to pay for their booze and cigarettes. These part time beneficiaries are supposedly employed.
If they're on a sickness benefit, they're not even counted.
What a have! Corrupt dare I say.

The recent polls run by the media stated that majority of NZ'ers wanted money put back into Public Services like Health and Education rather than to receive a tax cut.
What a crock of shit that is.
There are so many beneficiaries and part-timers in this country. They are all voting for the full time workforce to spend their money on services because they know they won't benefit in any way from a workforce tax payout.

National would support the Tax Payout, because National believe that if you earned the money, you earned the payout.

Labour's view is: The workers earn the money. The workers already pay for the beneficiaries lazy lifestyles. However, the workers tax cut money can still go to both the workers and the beneficiaries. Maybe just because it's the workers left over money and Labour doesn't give a shit about the workers.

Any chance of John Howard moving to NZ? I'd vote for him.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Half the posts in this thread will be illegal in election year once this new bill comes in.

Oh but dont worry the government expects "common sense" to dictate whether something is illegal or not.

Never voted labour ,but have voted act, national, social credit(only cause the person was a good one not for policy),then we got mmp and I thought shit hot can give party vote to whoever and vote for best mp even if different parties, was ok until to get a majority you had all the tossers saying if I'm minister for banking (anderton),foreign affairs(winny),we'll enable you to govern.

Like the new GREEN PARTY with Trevor Mallard as leader,he must be ok as he's been planting natives last month.

The trouble is that National could get a majority of the votes but still not govern because of this nandy, pandy, let's let all the losers in MMP. Even if National get in, it would be difficult for me to stay. I'm so over the place.

I voted labour at the last election, but they wont be getting my vote this time around. Trouble is, I'm not seeing anyone I want to vote for.
