Pit Bitch withput a home

Now I have been around KB for a long time and have offered my support to the racing guys be it ever so limited. I can change a tyre and get coffee.

I have time off to go to the Nationals. But the team I was going to go with has kind of parted ways. I offered my time to Cowpoos who doesnt want the help. Any one else out there. Or I will just pay and be a spectator.

You racing guys are always asking for help and support...so here it is

Quite frankly I give up.

Its been a hoot being pit crew and I work hard for any team that wants my help. Seems you guys dont need the help you ask for.

I never said I didn't want your help doll...I'm just not going to be racing for a while...have bugger all money and I'm selling the bike

but I would snap you up in a heart beat in any other case

and a racer would be nuts not to take you on board with your experience

i'm sure if you were there on the day and someone needed a hand, they'd grab you quick smart.

reminds of when i first started going to the races (1989ish) , i was just walking down pit lane in ruapuna when a ginger haired fella grabbed me and asked me to hold a spanner while he adjusted his front forks. i was new to the new zealand scene then and had no idea who he was. i later found out he was our very own gremlin!

i guess its a case off looking keen and if a team looks short handed, offering to help. more often than not, your offer would be gratefully accepted and its a way of extending the circle of people who know you and will use you in future. if they look stressed out and get a little rude, don't take it personally, i'm sure they don't mean it!

for future reference, i like my coffee white, no sugar!

sorry to hear you won't be racing this year. i know the feeling (being broke!)

good luck with the bike sale. derek and i are hoping to head up to puke next friday for some testing.
