Wont be doing the ride this week - too busy. If someone else want to conduct it, good luck.

Not to bad.....Its not that well maintained the further out you get with logging trucks using it ...Also it turnes into gravel road once into the park area...

Ideally you need a loop. The only problem with heading up that ways is that you are limited to routes back.

10 laps of the Whenuapai GP circuit will do nicely tho...

Sweep off the west end of Kauri Rd and get some timing lights. That 90 degree corner on Totara will catch some people for sure! No bitching about traffic giving you a bad time either! Wonder if Westie will poke his nose in here and let us know what his best time is?

Been out there a few times, north of the Shelley Beach turn off is lovely...........until it turns to gravel. Not sure taking a heap of bikes to a place that you have to all do a U-turn on off camber loose metal is a wonderful idea really...LOL

There's everything! Open sweeper, blind sweeper, straights, hairpin, chicanes. Such a shame it's how I HAVE to get home!

Personally Id start at the very top of trig road, then go into the loop.

Mmmmm yeah, I'm getting that long right down pat too, those people always track mud and stones out of their massive drive on the mid/exit tho. Anti clockwise is best eh.

Yep its quite exciting when it a tad greasy tho as there is one pot hole right on your line, so you adjust outwards, then theres another pot hole on that line so you cut back inside...

Ah the isle of the pai!
Yes quite varied, you can go one way then turn around and go the other way.
Lots of busy body nosey neighbours to tell you off.
    Ask morcs about "angry lady"
I'm surprised she is not a kb member and a frequent user of the rant and rave thread.

The H I cannon ball run must be coming up soon?

Yes the airport should be turned into a motorsport park.
I think the north shore council would like to see this happen. I would be pretty stoked too as I live at the northern end of the main runway.
Its like I'm in the castle movie.
Gunna go dig some holes now dad
