    Talking Hands are a shaking

Blimey just got in bout half hor ago, and now sat here, clutching a cup of tea, whilst my hands are a shaking.

Had an awesome backy ride up there,, thanks idb.........its so good to be a pillion sometimes, and to gaze at the dramatic scenery as it blasts past, and to watch the sun get lower and watch those mountains change colour is totally amazing. wish I didnt fall asleep quite so easily on the back of a bike though..............thank fudge, I manage to stay awake when I'm on my own bike!!

Got to the rally late afternoon after the biggest gut buster of a blt in omarama, where that loveable ram sits............

I love the stuff that goes on during the day, sorry to have missed the axe throwing......if I had know that was on, there is an ex boyfriend of mine, that I would have gladly voluntered for a target for the axe throwing. tee hee

Met up with xknuts soon as idb and myself showed up, always good to see you Chris....unpacked thye bare essentials, tent, sleeping bag, and port.............

Then partied on, I thought the band was great, and the kid that got up and tweaked the guitar strings, man has he got a bright future. then got very pissed very quickly, for some odd reason, and managed to loose a pack of 6, and somehow gifted the port to someone, must stop being generous with that stuff at a rally, so bid the night farewell, by being rugby tackled to the floor by some of my Dunedin firefighting friends.. Did a poor show of the haka in front of them, which obviously prompted this inpromptu game of rugby, frigging sore right calf now............youch, glad to be a girl and not to have to engage in that rough stuff

Had an awesome lie in till the tent got to what felt like 300 degrees, and burst out of there, as if a swarm of bees had gone in, decided it was a bad idea to get up that early and went back to sleep in the furnace, cooked a wicked breakfast, of noodles, bacon and beans...............

So we finally set off bout lunchtime ish, and frigging hell with a nice hangover and soaring temperatures, there were a lot of stops. Ran into a coupleof dudes, we hung out with in the Ile of Man, who were travelling back from Burt and had several hair of the dog beers, and snoozed a lot on the way home.

I got woke up by a huge truck going past, which snapped the back of my head back, and shocked the crap out of me, stopped idb, and asked is is possible to snap your head right off? he sniggered and said it would have been another few k's before he would have noticed, the headless corpse perched behind him.....huh!

The sun on lake in cromwell danced on the river, and that is a sight which always mesmorises me........................

More or less fell off idb's bike grabbed gear and here I am.

Great to catch up with you dudes and dudess's again, and meet and greet some more new ones.

I frigging love rallies, now know staks of folk there, and always have a ball

So goodnight from me, and roll on the KB do in Parnassus eh..

And again ta IDB for the ride, hope to get my tyre back on my bike this week.........

    Coi for now

well i had a good weekend down the magpie. managed to avoid a sunburn, nice of the organisers to have that free sunscreen stand there.

I must say the highlight for me was being wolf whistled at by one of the kiwi biker girls as she rode past in the dark with a friend on the back. gave me a big grin.

saw scumdog there still sporting the handlebar moustache, guess he got time off work for good behaviour.

ran into dangerous a couple of times but other than that i was a total antisocial bastard this wknd and didnt say hi to the kiwibiker fraternity :P
maybe nextime i'll wear the KB-polo and you'll trak me down.

Great piccies & write up peoples!
Great you all had a good time.

We did our ride from five forks to lindis yesterday, what a mission staying on the bike in that wind. The lakes were great for surfers! Seen plenty off bikes in Omarama but no KBer's that we knew to tell us any good stories. Maybe we can make it next year.

    Wild Wind Storm

Great weekend Guys n Gals. I finally met Speedygirl (on the Dance floor), it's great when she has her name plastered over her Tee shirt.
Tough work heading South into that fierce wind. The little "Hurricane" was battling against it, & I was worn out by the time I dismounted.

Does anybody have movie of the lead singer of "Bon Derriere" falling off the top of the speaker stack??

    eek OOOOO today was hard....................

Bloody hell, talk about sleeping like I had been knocked out last night!!, woke up with a dead arm which I remember leaning on my face as I drifted off to sleep and dreamt about motorbikes and rallies. God I live and breath these rallies now, whenever I hear a thumping great big motorbike hammering past and its quickens my pulse.

I have always been the same ever since the age of 5 when my lovely pa used to drop me off at primary school on his lambretta, fuck wish he had kept that minter, it would have been worth a fortune now

Anyway today went quickly but it was horrible being at work, especially hearing bikes pass through back from Burt or wherever, must have been a grumpy fucker at work, so pumped up the Rock, grabbed a 4x2 piece of timber and air guitared quite a lot today. I blame those German bikers in the IOM, who taught me and IDB the proper way to play air guitars, I cant bloody stop doing it now!.....what a crack that was

Got too pissed to canvas folk on their opinions on a farewell to summer kb piss up in Akaroa, so will post a threat pretty soon with a couple of dates on and see what the crack is.

OOOOOOOOOOOO its only 30 days till christmas hope Santa been listening to me and gets me something nice and

Well dudes and dudess's until the next time,

Had a weird trip back into chch though - no traffic, not even from Rolleston, nothing, never seen that before in my time at chch.
