Anyway, a mate & I are coming out of the Whanga pub yesterday & one of the two van loads of ladies we passed on the way turns & says "are you guys with the Ulyisses club"..........I spun around & said "are you talking to me????" She nods so I turned to my mate & said "rights it, this bloody movember is comin off"


lol im only 35 you old women!!! You have to be like 50++ to be in that club lol

ahh who would've known () lol .man that has gotta make ya feel good,so they are basically saying you look 50+ ...

I thought it was brand new, been well looked after & no doubt the shop scrubbed her up real good prior to sale, in great nick for sure.

I remember when you pulled up on the other side of the tunnel hearing a sweet rumble, turned around & it was your 6 hundy, was thinkin "damn that sounds great"......................still doesn't beat mine when she is howling @ 10,000RPM

thanks,yea they scrubbed it up so much that they got silicone on the brake disc not good when i test rode it down flygers line .i just finished polishing the katana to ,especially that exhaust.(puts metal polish under seat)

Several more groups turned up too who were part of the Norton Owners Club ?? weekend happening back towards Stratford.

Norton Owners Club it was, and a great weekend it was too. Capped off by Sundays return ride Whanga, Taumarunui, Kuratau, Mangakino, Old Taupo Rd, Okoroire, home.
On the way down on Friday one of our group was asked at the Whanga pub which gang we were with - "Grey Power" was the reply.

If it was a Bronze Metalflake (thats a colour) Fastback he ground the spring off his sidestand on a corner, had to stop to electrical tie it up before it turned into a pole vault. If it was someone else i would be keen to know about it.
Some of these things do go and go - one of our group was on a 197? Bonnevile (Triumphs are tolerated) which has done 90,000 miles since the head was last off.
