Unfortunately, like most of us poor saps, I have to earn a living; I've already used up as much free time today as I'm prepared to allow myself by meeting with a certain KBer to discuss a certain sport that I used to love and have decided to get back into with a vengeance.

I'll try and fit another test ride in before the end of the week, though.

Jesus, dude, I may be developing a reputation here for unbiased opinions on bikes people love to hate, but asking me to review a Multistrada... that's going a bit far!

    *strokes chin thoughtfully*

You know, I could do. Haldanes have a black '05 Multistrada on the floor for $15K.

I've left a message for Richard to call me back about it...

[Edit: The ride is booked for 12:30pm tomorrow. For what we are about to receive...]

Very good read-still, a move from the 750 to a Harley? I understand your 90 point reasoning but what a huge potential shift!!

Nicely written, but horribly deluded. Don't lick those little stickers the HD salesmen give you.

I doubt that I'll buy a Harley. My budget is important, and I can get a hell of a lot of bike for half the sticker price of a ten-year-old Dyna.

Still, I am open to persuasion, and it's good to know what's out there. The possibility always exists that I will ride a bike and love it enough to mortgage my soul to the devil and/or Motor Trade Finance Limited, or at least enough to start saving very, very hard.

Funny how we have different values; I live in a sub-modest older house - 'cos that way I can afford Harleys and shit.

(After all, a house is just a glorified cave, if it's warm waterproof and roomy ain't that about all ya need??)

I live in Grahameeboy's spare bedroom.

I am but a poor and 'umble man, who is already spending as much of his money on motorcycles as the dictates of respectability allow.

    Thank You

thank you Mr Jrandom for the ride yesterday, was a nice ride and very comfortable. even the out of gas on the motorway incident was good having the bike start up that quick I am very impressed with the harley, not to mention the way it feels and handles!

my boots are now polished with the best oil out of that bike, Can't be too offended when a harley of such quality wants to piss on you.

you have my number for the next test ride.

Quite right. And thats for the ladies. Men hang out in the shed where the bikes and tools live.
