Thanks guys I learnt heaps! I did however not turn my bike completely off when I got home and now have a flat battery and no jumpers. Stupid company car has fire extingisher, first aid and no jumpers!!! Not one of my neighbours got one and all the men in my life dont either. grrrrrrrrrrrr
I've got a battery charger and leads...pm me if you need to borrow them...I can come over and give ya a hand....

Yea fuck I've done that before...

Get yourself a 30 bucks battery charger or even better, get yourself a battery optimiser.

I wouldn't recommend jump starting your bike with a car battery as most likely, it's gonna fry it. You can start your bike by chucking the jumper leads on your car battery with the car off but it's not gonna solve your flat battery problem compeletely as the battery could go flat as soon as you switch it off. The reason why is that the battery has gone flat and it might not hold the quick charge from the car battery (it depends on the battery quality) and you'll probably need to hook it up for a proper charge on a battery charger.

    Done.

Yeah buddy, GN's are where it's at.
All those guys out there on ninja's are just afraid of the raw power of a single cylinder *grunts*

Nah, i'd never handle riding a sport bike, i have to sit on the pillion seat on my GN as it is (oh the joys of being 6'2")

Maybe there's a GN resurgence. Those Hyosungs were taking over for a while there but there is hope yet

i have been seeing a LOT of GN's around lately, people probably pullin em out of the garage for a cheap commute now the weathers cleared up.

Got a mate who is a bike mechanic, reckons he's seen heaps of hyosungs comin in with problems, from mechanical stuff to bent frames and everything in between. though they may look the business, seems there's still a few reliability issues there..

Come down Mt wellington highway...turn right at the lights (next to BP)

keep going down Ellerslie/Panmure highway till you get to a big roundabout...

Mobil is on left take 1st exit off roundabout...dont go around more than once you might get dizzy

Sweet as, i know the Panmure roundabout, but cant recall seeing a mobil there. Normally too busy watching the cagers around me as i cruise through there though, i dont trust em on roundabouts (or anywhere for that matter)
Keep an eye out for an eejit going round and round the roundabout just in case!
oh well, catch y'all tmrw night, i'mm off to work again. gonna have to stab the boss in the eye when he gets back for leavin me to work all weekend
