Well, maybe, but by the same logic one could say that riding home totally pissed from the pub doesn't end up with crashed bikes. The ridnings home that do weren't done properly.

FTR, I don't have any objection to people pulling wheelies, or cruising at 160. Or pretty much anything else for that matter, so long as they don't involve me.

Bullshit. Dunno how many "Stunts gone wrong" incidents you've actually witnessed but every single one I've attended has had exactly the same opening statement from the guy lying on the deck.

Good grief, its another 'pin the opinion on the thread' ...erm...thread.

Once again 90% or the people here have never met either of the combatants, 80% have never ridden on the road in question, 60% haven't reached puberty... yet they're willing to pass judgement on either rider.

Hey... lets all go over to the other thread where we all know what happened at that accident near Murchison! Wooo!!!

Well yeah your both quite right. But the fact remains, stunts when done properly are safe. Its when they go pear shaped they're unsafe.

And during my tenure of bike riding I have been guilty of both your statements. In fact I moan like a little bitch every time someone beats me up the hill.

The point I'm tryna make is that just because you're doing a wheelie (or speeding) doesn't automatically make you more dangerous than the guy putting along on two at 80kmh....

THe way I see it is if you dont like his riding, dont ride with him again. There are plenty of others to ride with.

If drew is as good as he says he is then I guess we wont be posting RIPs about him anytime soon then.

There is more to life out there than bitching it up in here, sort it in person

They've learnt in stunt school how to hide their pain, it's a bit like boxing, you learn how to hide when you're tired or hurting.

OK. This sentiment has been voiced a couple of times now, so can I just point this out in plain English once and for all.

    I wasn't riding with Drew.

Once upon a time I was riding down those roads with a pillion.

Some guy came past me on one wheel.

I thought it was great, I might have even clapped. It was hard to clap with a pillion on that bike though.

My point is, someone doing that kind of stuff does not know if it is going to upset people or not.

My solution? I dunno. I think as punishment Drew should teach Ceebie to wheelie and Ceebie should make Drew watch some English comedy.
