I don't think I'll miss NOT riding tonight (I'm looking forward to some rides tho)... but at least I'm a step or two closer to getting back on the road... new (secondhand) swingarm purchased through Ok!shon (yahoo.jp), just waiting for it to get from the vendor to Ok!shon warehouse, so it can then get shipped to NZ - which will take another week or two I guess... sigh. Finger nail tapping. SIGH.

Shit, I've even given all (and I mean ALL) my leathers a good dosing with nikwax, so they're all nice and soft and waterproof.

Oh well, buying a new TTR250 in the next few days, so at least I'll be able to blat around on the dirt, if nothing else...

...and a TTR50 for my 4yo - so he can come out with big bro (7) on his PW80 - and mum has an XT225 to keep her going until I get her Bandit fixed...

Well piking tonight for obvious reasons. Hope it is sweet this Saturday for the Kamo Christmas Parade and Toy run (10.30am join-up time).

That is one cool ride, we did it one year, I was on my GN. Was running a tad late and arrived after the roads had been closed. We cruised up the service lanes behind the shops until we got close to the paraqde line up. A security bloke allowed us to join up

So we crossed the footpath through the crowd and landed fair and square at the front of the parade, here we were, 2 sprots bikes and a little old GN amongst all the hairy, black leather clad, Harley bikers at the front

Great fun!

Blue Skies here in Kaitaia...Waited for Gordie but thought fuck him if he turns up late he can miss out! Sick of him turning up just after I leave, so left straight away tonight.
