Last time at this rally, I recall wearing jandels at the urinal, some guy next to splattered on my feet... really very gross.
No jandels in the loo this time... yuk

07 was a trip over via lewis and lunch in reefton, to Woodstock, and then back via Arthers... was awesome, with the rally in the middle.
Could even be worth trying to make the Friday, just to be able to do some local sight seeing, the hoki gorge or somthing is great to see?

I believe there were one or two of them at the staging post if my memory serves correctly, although it is all a little bit foggy!

On a Tiger I would be far more interested in doing the "Molesworth" on the way, as DOC has it open at that time of year & I can't think of a better bike to do it on.
    Picton-Blenheim-Molesworth-Hanmer Springs-Lewis Pass etc etc

Well it would be mighty fine to see you there Dude, it really is a rip roar of a laugh this one, it gets packed, and the tanks and flyoevers are wickedly superb. This is the rally where I say a manx cat on my mates Ducatti Dalmah's seat and called it the Duc Cat Ti, did try to enter it on for the 08 calender, but my computer skills are shyto, so co le vie, 09 maybe.

Get your stead across the lake mate, as its a pumping rally.

    Adios amigo

Thank you to those who came to the Garstonian Rally 2009, heads up for the 2010 Rally.......

Ha, yeah had thought of that too. Some blokes I know are organising a quick weekend trip to do that road in early Jan so I may end up doing it with them...its certainly on the list for some stage.

The Molesworth is normally open Dec-Apr but it was in today's paper that due to the fire risk, DoC may not open it this year. Pay to check first.
