Me thinks I'll go wet or not.
I'm hoping to join in again; maybe will bring a friend if that's ok. I went out that way in the weekend, and it was awesome, pretty windy on the way home tho', the GN got thrown around like a feather.

stay relaxed (dont tence up) and let the bike move below you, and keep to the side of the lane that the wind is comming from.

Thanks Dangerous. I don't really like being pushed around, but with a bit of practice I'm learning to enjoy the different elements and go with them rather than fight them. Laying down a little helped, as did slowing down slightly. You get to predict the gusts after a while. Still tiring!

I'll be keen to come along. If it's anything like as hot as it is today I'll be sweating small rivers within 10 minutes of setting out... but ya get that in the summer! Remembered to top my bike up with oil today - it was getting a little low. Maybe that was the thing causing the backfiring I was getting? It wasn't that low, but I guess it could have been causing it... Anyone know much about these things?

Anyway all topped up, running sweetly and ready to rumble. Just need some decent sleep actually - been way too hot these last few nights and haven't slept at all well, starting to feel a bit odd.
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You musta been.... high. You musta been...

    .

I think I'll give the long straight rides a miss, I get left behind when it's not short and twisty.
