I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

Yo Maha man! My vote is Mangawhai, either the 'pipi or tavern. I'm a new KB member so dont know if vote will count or not. Also is this ride for long term members or can I come break my cherry and meet all you fine, pleasant pillars of the community.

I was going to say that the JAFFA crowd could meet at Shell Westgate (end of Northwestern Motorway) @ 9.30am leaving at 10am. Route via 'the usual ' through to Walkworth, where the Maha's can show us some back roads eh?

Yeah well, we do have a little route planned out, but it is a direct one to the tavern, only the Dome valley to negotiate on SH1, the rest is "a little pootle in the country" really.

Anything to enrich our local knowledge is welcome Who said it was wrong to "pootle"? Does this mean the Yamaha is coming out of the closet?

Fantastic! I'll keep an eye open (unless a venue has already been decided) for where the JAFA crew is congregating on this KB site to rock on up north with. By some of the postings you all look like an interesting bunch, looking forward to a ride and a bevvie with you all.
