I could use this all the way up to 645. But that would be annoying and boring.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    No, I can't.
I (finally) found the image on the Fiat Parts website, and found out it was a special Pininfarina gearknob, but where does the 628 come into it? :spudwhat:

Now if I say that the gearknob is certainly not a short shift gear knob... Can you guess it then?

    BMC 628? That's a Pininfarina-styled truck... no short-throw gearstick there

How the hell are we supposed to guess some random Chinese-made tuba?

    It's getting colder...

The same way you'd verify some of the more outlandish planes that Jim2 posts or some of the more exotic/vague insinuations that have been presented earlier... Think about it, do a search, think some more.

I already know (from the website) that it's a long-throw knob (for a long-armed shaft-stroker?), but I don't see what the tie is, unless the gearbox itself has a '628' in its designation.

Alternatively, you might be just posting random images from your GeekFile.

    Poor Norman.
He was so enjoying his vacation in the cheap streets of the old city, hanging out with the dregs of the dog world, shagging flea-bitten mongrels every night, scavenging proper dog delights instead of the canned crap, getting into dogfights, beating up cats, crapping wherever he felt like it, no collar'n'lead cramping his style...

It's a long shift gearknob - but the tie in to 628 has nothing to do with transmissions. Can't help you more than that...
