Sad thing is there are people out there that believe it.

Everything I've posted on this thread is tongue in cheek. I like to think the Manawatu rides are well organised and everyone knows to ride sensibly.

Sorry to Chancey for the Moderator post. Chancy is not moderating the ride. The road has one destination and getting there is the prime objective. There will be alot of traffic as its holidays and alot of families go out there in Caravans etc. The Beach itself should be very busy.

Sad but true yes. It's extremely rare to see any dumb moves on a Manawatu ride I agree. In fact, the silliest things that happen are the things that occur off the road, not on it. And that just has to be a good thing

Glad to report the fence is still standing. May have to put another couple of nails in it tomorrow as it would be a bloody disaster getting my gnome nicked

Gnome is safe,we put one of them irish wet curse on its widdle head.

And your greenery is such you'd need cowboyz gps to get out once you found them.

Just switch up a 240v wire to a steel rod along the inside of fence.

If it is on the internet it must be true. Good point about the traffic. Have to polish up the spidey sense or may have to resort to that common sense thing.
