Ok Ok enough enough now. Here's a list of tasty chicks on TV 1:

    Pippa Wetzell
    Erica Wood
    Bernadine Oliver-Kerby
    Donna-Marie Lever

Yum, at least they are worth watching

I pity NZers having no "commercial free" State owned broadcaster. The magic that screens on the ABC in Oz puts TVNZ to shame. Of course there are historical reasons for the way NZ TV is structured I'm sure.

30 minutes is all that one really needs to cover news, sport and weather. The ABC does this and it makes it worth watching. None of the Packer bias that seems to dominate some of the other news services in Australia. But then there's always bias in any reporting of facts I suppose.

The ABC also has gems like the Chaser's War on Everything, Enough Rope (Andrew Denton) and Mr Squiggle.

Like lunch, there's no such thing as a "free" broadcaster. And my heart sinks when I think of the politically correct crap, lame English dramas and netball that gets served up by our state broadcaster and how this would be even worse once any sort of commercial imperative was removed.
