But yes, for me Auckland is very much about the way it looks from the North Shore going into the city.

I am a country girl at heart, and I don't really enjoy living in Auckland, but there are true moments of beauty that just take your breath away sometime...

Leaky homes aren't that bad. Let's see...

1) Sell the house from the Trust to my personal name (at a huge loss) Nice tax credit. Thanks Jim.

2) Get house fixed to a better standard, quality and look than it was originally - all at the tax payers expense. Thanks Jim.

3) Claim stress, interest, legal fees, moving expenses and horrendous rent (while at another house that my Trust owns) All at the tax payers expense. Thanks Jim

4) Sell what is basically a new, better house at the end of all this at a huge profit with no capital gains tax, all paid for by the tax payer. Thanks Jim.
