Haven't done anything about it yet - really only cosmetic (I hope).

On Mark's bike all that happened was a bent bolt thru his bar end weight & a little paint off the same. Something to be said for naked's/partly faired bikes.

Is the Mobil, the one on the right as you come off the bridge after the gorge before the straights to Palmy?
Dunno whereabouts it is the destination, never ridden around that area.
Is there a gas station along the line somewhere there for the return journey?
    Cheers.
    Yep, that's the bugger.

There is gas at Pongaroa if the shop is open. Not sure what your range is but I'll easily do the whole ride from Ashhurst on a tank. If you can do 200k's or more you should be right to get back to Danniverke if you have a full tank at Ashhurst.

yes the mobil is on napier road. Actually the only servo in ashhurst so you cant miss it really. ride is approx 120km from ashhurst to the beach and then about 60-70km back to Danniverke so all the bikes should make it easy. There is fuel about 30k short of the beach but it isnt cheap. Come on down. Should be a good day out.

WTF?? If you dont know where Ashhurst is then you havent lived. From Wangas head to Feilding and then out towards bunythorpe then on to ashhurst. Just keep heading towards the windmills. Should take about 45mins. I have attached a map just for you.
