We're tossing up between New Plymouth tomorrow night or the Bay. I suspect my turangiwaiwai may get the nod, at this stage anyway...

The forecast looks a bit equivocal everywhere for the next few days.

Just got back from Taupo. The old RG stayed in one piece and ran well for the day. Fingers crossed it stays running tomorrow.
Speights_bud had a ball. We were both excited to see the RG running so well. Just got better as the day went on. Qualified 3rd. Bring on tomorrow. Meeky_mouse rode well but got closed down by some of the buckets on the track and could not shake free to get a clear track. You rode well Meekey but with all that traffic you just can't get free. Better luck tomorrow. Team Cudby had a good day and StickChicks pink bits is running well. Not sure how Mike went but looked good from where I was sitting.

Sun burnt and all, but that's two days at the track. One to go. Bring on tomorrow.

Thanks for the report S. We will probably call in at the track on our way to Tauranga tomorrow.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I was about to stop when I saw you parked on the side of the road just north of Dannevirke, but then you were pulling out

That was me that gave you a wave as you passed us
Thought it was you Scott. Did a bit of visiting before I left Wanganui so headed home on my own. I thought it was getting a little cold when I left D'virke then realised I had forgotten to do up my jacket.

Hi Al. Cage for me today. If you ride up watch for the tax man. So close to paying it yesterday. Lots of them and the Camera van.
There will be a gate fee today. We are all use to open gate no pay but there is a fee today.
We will be leaving 8-8.30 ish.

They will only get two maybe three races today. So lots of sitting around and looking at other bikes. Cheers

If we don't see you today have a great trip you three. The weather is looking good.
Lots of tax men around. If you do drop in to the track there will be a gate fee so be prepared for that.

    Report from Taupo.

The weather was good. A brief shower or two but the track was dry 90% of the day.
Speights_Bud had a blinder and can be well pleased with his day. The old RG hung in there and carried him to anover all 2nd place in the Street stock class. Second to our very own Team Cudby. Our adopted daughter Meekey_mouse had a good day and improved in leaps and bounds in the last two races. Nice to see you got out of the traffic and really showed some good pace.

    Speights_bud.

    Race 1 2nd
    Race 2 1st
    Race 3 2nd

    Team Cudby

    Race 1 1st
    Race 2 2nd
    Race 3 1st

Giving Team Cudby an over all win and Speights Bud a second in class for the day. Nice to see the Hawkes Bay teams doing so well.

Big thanks to Gary and Anna for their full support at the track and off the track. You guys rock. Your spannering is great Gary and you kept the bike going on song all day. Thanks for the wheels you two.

To Wasp27 and Mrs Wasp27....... Thanks so much for all the tech help. I have never learnt so much in one day. Your knowledge of things mechanical are outstanding W. Thanks for sharing it with our fledgling team. The sort of information you are giving us will keep the bike on the track for Pat to weave his magic. To Lance......... Mate thanks for all the help and advice. As you have been on the track for a few years and know two strokes so well you have given us a lot of information and tips that are hard learnt. Your skills are fantastic and thanks for sharing them with us.
So nice to see RobertyDog and family, at the track and share some, off track sparring. I don't think I will ever get your boy to wear a GSX-R hat. Will I ? Again so much race knowledge to pass on. Thanks man. Not your fault you ride Yamahahahahaha

To Five Star.... Thanks for your sponsorship. You have built a very strong engine for us and it is proving to be a winner. Your support is much appreciated. I will make up a photo board and put it in the shop for all to see in the next week.

And finally to Pat Doohan ( Speight_Bud) You rode the wheels off the little bike today and had a great result. Your skills and determination pushed the RG to it's limits and you came away with a great result. A second in your first outing with this bike is no mean feat. You have done well and deserve a pat on the back.

To Mary Moo and Martin..... love da Muffins Hun and Martin thanks for the fetch and carry. It can be a pain at the track but you filled the day well.

Mr and Mrs Meekey_Mouse and Meekey_Mouse........ you are the bomb. Thanks for the time you have given Speights_Bud, food, bed wheels, transport, oil and did I mention oil and.......... and it goes on and on. I think he owes you big time.... So do we.. . Thanks You Guys

I could carry on and on but lets just say a 10/10 day............

Gotta say it was ablast today. Enjoyed it more that Wanganui.
Paddy you rode really well. Mighty impressed. Meekey_Mouse, well done, you rode well too.
    When is the next meeting?
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever
