From Telecom? Was it easy? I have a Telecom post-paid mobile with an 027 prefix and had stuck with them as my number is on my business cards, but I am considering changing now you can take your number with you. Tried contacting them through their website to ask a few questions but it said the site wasn't working for some reason. Haven't bothered going into the shops as I don't have the money to buy a new one as yet. I want a basic one with NO camera (pain the bloody arse - forever taking unintended shots as the button is on the side) or bells and whistles - but I do like the flip ones.

Have you found the coverage or reception is better, worse or the same?
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Piece of piss, took about 2 days to switch over, no charge at all, just the cost of the new phone. I'm in the same boat as you, have a personalised number that I don't want to have to reprint stationary and signwriting for.

Coverage isn't quite as good as Telecom, but customer service was far superior.

And it gives me more minutes, for cheaper than Telecom. Only reason I switched.

    Arrow

I have a near mint Sanyo 5600 for sale...decent offer will own it.
I used it with a Telecom contract so not a pre-paid sort of thing however I believe it's possible for a Telecom shop to convert it to prepay.
It obviously has all extras...PM me if keen.
